MITS, Gwalior propagates sporting activities, as an energy booster, since the development of mental and physical faculties is equally essential. The college has thus constituted a sports cell with guidance provided by coaches and sports persons of professional repute. The cell promotes several indoor and out-door sports activities to keep the students physically fit and mentally alert.

Karate:
Ms. Smriti Gupta, B. E. Final (Bio Tech.) participated in Karate at Chief Minister Games, held at Bhopal 2012-13. Won in Individual Kumite (Fight) - Gold Medal -01 Won Bronze medal in Team Kumite-01 Contributed in winning RUNNER UP TROPHY for Gwalior Division in Women Category by securing one of three gold.
BADMINTON:
Veena Verma, Sapna Arya, Princy Jain, Bhawana Dangi, Akansha Johri, Inter collegiate winner team 2012-13.

CHESS:
Deepak Patel, Yogesh Kumere, Manoj Singh Kushwah, Vivek Chhiroliya, Harsh Jasia‚Inter collegiate Chess winner Team 2012-13.

ABLE TENNIS:
Samridhi Singh Dangi and Arunima Robert represented Gwalior Nodal and participated in RGPV State Level Table Tennis Tournament held at VNS College, Bhopal 2012-13.
FOOTBALL:
Mahesh Rai, Sanjay Singh Adhikari, Rameez Zaman represented Gwalior Nodal and participated in RGPV State Level Football Tournament held at BSF Tekanpur 2012-13.
BASKETBALL:
